"It takes a Village-We're That Village"

Charise Bryant, known affectionately as Miss Bryant, is the passionate driving force behind The Youth Nation Center’s transformative programming. With a rich background in youth mentorship, education, and the performing arts, she brings creativity, empathy, and intentionality to everything she leads.
Miss Bryant is grounded in the belief that every child deserves to step into their future feeling empowered and ready. Whether it’s leading affirmations, unpacking tough emotions, or celebrating achievements, she champions each child as someone full of possibility and promise.

At The Youth Nation Center, our mission is to empower, educate, and uplift young people by providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment after school and during enrichment programs. We are committed to supporting the whole child—emotionally, socially, academically, and creatively—through hands-on learning, mentorship, and intentional care.
Our aftercare and youth programming focuses on:

At The Youth Nation Center, we believe in empowering our youth and teens to dream boldly, think creatively, and develop the confidence to bring their ideas to life. For the months of November and December, our Positive Word of the Month is Entrepreneur, and our students will be fully immersed in hands-on learning experiences that spark imagination and leadership.
Throughout these months, the children will be grouped into teams as they explore what it truly means to be an entrepreneur. Their learning journey will include:
Under the guidance of Ms. Bryant, students will use their creativity to make, bake, or create a product they will sell. Each group will build a full business concept and then prepare a mock pitch presentation to share with their classmates and families at our Christmas Mid-Day Party.
During this entrepreneurship unit, students will gain real-world skills by creating:
Each student will also be assigned a role within their business team, helping them practice teamwork, leadership, accountability, and communication.
Most importantly, this experience is designed to help our youth build confidence, especially in public speaking, as they present their ideas proudly in front of family and friends.
This is more than a project—it's a chance for our students to discover that with vision, discipline, and creativity, they can become anything they want to be. 🌟
Starting November 28, 2025, through December 20th, 2025, The Youth Nation Center is officially kicking off our Christmas Countdown! We are thrilled to announce our very first Christmas Gathering, where our amazing kids will proudly present their business plans in front of their family and friends.
